Some outlooks for 2017 have already been asserted, while others remain rumours. For the coming year, music streaming company Spotify’s IPO is highly anticipated, alongside messaging parent company of Sbnapchat, Snap Inc., which has already filed an IPO, and Palantir Technologies, setup by venture capitalist Peter Thiel in 2004 and set to be the biggets IPO of the year. Uber, Slack and Dropbox are also rumoured to take the public stage with their long awaited IPOs. On the JV front, German airline and one of the largest in Europe, hopes to have its JV with Singapore Airlines approved by the start of the year, subject to approval by Australian and Singaporean authorities. Also in the realm of travel, the Co- operative Group has sold its stake in Thomas Cook in a $58 million deal, and is looking forward to the transaction being completed by November 2017. In other news, according to the Business Insider, Zane E. Brown, partner and fixed income strategist at Lord Abbett, a fund manager that oversees $135.9 billion in assets, predicts that Brexit will have a significant impact on UkK growth, as well as European. In addition, the political uncertainty and timeframe for effectuation is set to ‘speed up’ relocations of operations out of the UK.
