Now in its sixth year, 2016’s Finance Monthly Deal Maker of the Year Awards celebrate the most im- pressive transactions in M&A, capital raising, corporate bonds, infrastructure and project finance, equities and restructuring and celebrates excellence in M&A expertise in corporate, private eq- uity, investment banking and legal fields. The Finance Monthly Deal Maker Awards recognise expertise in financial, legal, tax, due diligence, risk, management and strategic advisory fields in multiple jurisdictions throughout Europe, the Mid- dle East & Africa, North and Latin America, Asia and Australia as well as excellence for global corporate and private equity advisory. Following 2015 which was marked by many mega-sized transactions that led to a record year, 2016 may not have been as manic in regards to M&A transactions, but has nevertheless been notable for a number of big-name deals, despite the economic uncertainty, the news about UK’s Brexit, a depreciating China and the tension surrounding the US Presidential election. At Finance Monthly, we’re always interested in the people at the heart of these deals and those on the frontlines of their execution; the dealmakers whom make such transactions possible.
