David acted for Rockpool Investments on its recent investment in the E-commerce as a Service business, Rosetta Brands.He is a partner in the firm’s Corporate and Commercial department. Having qualified as a solicitor in Scotland in 2001, he continued his career in the City with DLA Piper before joining New York law firm Kaye Scholer where he became partner in 2012. David joined Bracher Rawlins in 2019.

David has more than two decades’ experience advising clients on a range of corporate transactional matters, including cross-border and domestic disposals and acquisitions, joint ventures and fundraisings. David has particular expertise in venture capital and private equity transactions and has acted for emerging growth and expanding companies, start-ups, venture capital investors, family offices and private equity funds in all phases of their private equity and venture capital related transactions.

David graduated from Glasgow University in 1997 with a first-class degree in Law and from Oxford University in 1999 with a BCL (Bachelor of Civil Law) degree.

He has been listed in many of the leading legal directories of for his work in M&A and private equity, including The Best Lawyers in the United Kingdom 2021-2023 (Mergers and Acquisitions Law).
